Our Story

Steez was born from friendship—Chuck and Kuan, two kids new to a small town in North Carolina.
They met in middle school, bonded over bikes and ball, and spent their days riding backwoods trails.
Kuan kept riding. Chuck pursued sports. But their connection never faded.

Years later—Chuck in Minneapolis, Kuan in Calgary—the world shifted in 2020.
Chuck turned to biking to clear his head, stay active, and reconnect with nature.
But something felt off. The gear was expensive. The community didn’t reflect the world he knew.

So he called Kuan. And together, they built something different.

Steez was born—high-quality cycling gear infused with streetwear style.
Effortless. Comfortable. Accessible. Made for every rider, and always in motion.

And it's more than gear.
A portion of every purchase supports the Ntibonera Foundation,
which brings education, healthcare, and opportunity to communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Because Congo is more than conflict—it is the heart of the world’s technology.

Its soil holds cobalt, coltan, tantalum, and tin—minerals essential to smartphones, laptops, electric vehicles, and AI.
There is no phone, no EV, no cloud, no AI model—without Congo.

Yet while the world thrives off its resources, Congo suffers in silence.

  • Since 1996, over 6 million people have been killed, with some estimates reaching 10 million.

  • More than 7.8 million people are displaced, including over 400,000 in 2024 alone.

  • In Eastern Congo, over 80% of women in displacement camps have been raped, a weapon of war used systematically—and ignored by the world.

This is one of the greatest ongoing humanitarian crises in modern history—and almost no one talks about it.

At Steez, we refuse to look away. We ride to remember. We ride to speak. We ride for change.

This is more than cycling gear.
This is Steez—effortless style, always in motion, for something bigger.
